Band Biography
NEW BEATS band began at the end of 2012 in a first contact between the drummer Alejandro Bianchi with the guitarist and Beatles lover Gastón. Together with the bassist Pablo, they agreed on a first test rehearsal with a list of original Beatles songs.
That first experience was good and from that moment they continued the weekly rehearsals incorporating another guitar, female voice, violin in some songs, until they were able to put together a repertoire of 15 songs.
During this process, the songs were modified in their interpretation with changes in rhythms and their own arrangements, which made the band's music consolidate as a different artistic proposal.
Soon there were changes in musicians and the following joined: Joel Castaño (keyboards), Kone (vocals), Miguel Navarro (bass). A repertoire of 15 songs was put together for the first show at Beatmemo in December 2013. There was a good response from the public and the bar was fully occupied, which led to other performances by the band at some private events and parties in the city. The project as a band for events was consolidated due to the type of show it offers.
At the beginning of 2014 the changes continued and Sergio Provenzano joined the band on guitar, with whom we managed to give another sound and interpretation to the songs, performing several times in pubs in the city of Rosario, repeatedly in Beatmemo, El Cairo and we closed the year with another change on the keyboards, Sergio Koval joined.
